THEY’VE JIHAD IT Brit extremists fighting for ISIS in Iraq and Syria should be KILLED and not allowed to return home, Defence Secretary says

NEW Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson has repeated his calls to kill Brit jihadists.

Speaking to The Sun last month he vowed to hunt down and kill IS traitors using drones, and he made similar claims again on Wednesday.

The 41-year-old politician insisted Brits who fled to Syria to fight alongside IS extremists should not be allowed home.

During the interview with the Daily Mail he added: “A dead terrorist can’t cause any harm to Britain.

“I do not believe that any terrorist, whether they come from this country or any other, should ever be allowed back into this country.

Protect Britain

“We should do everything we can do to destroy and eliminate that threat.”

In October, International Development Minister Rory Stewart said nearly all Brit IS fighters will have to be killed to protect Britain.

BBC Radio 5 Live’s Pienaar’s Politics: “I’m afraid we have to be serious about the fact these people are a serious danger to us, and unfortunately the only way of dealing with them will be, in almost every case, to kill them.”

Mr Williamson’s tough stance comes in response to Britain’s terror watchdog saying some fighters should be given the chance for rehabilitation.

Max Hill QC said “naive” young people swept up by hateful ISIS propaganda could be taken back into society.

More than 800 Brits are thought to have travelled to war-torn Syria and Iraq to take up arms with jihadists.
